MILL COMPONENTS, ONE BUILDING
We support the region's sugar mills through crushing season and the maintenance window, with mill shutdowns, breakdown response and the manufacture and repair of milling components, rolls, shafts and gearing.
Fabrication, machining, fitting and painting sit under one roof, so a component is stripped, assessed, measured, repaired, reassembled and coated without leaving the complex or waiting on an outside trade. Nothing goes back together on assumption, every part is measured and recorded first.
Where a surface is worn rather than broken, ABClad, our patented hard surfacing process, reclaims it instead of replacing the part, and the computerised gas fired oven stress relieves the assembly after heavy welding.

CREWS AT THE MILL, TRANSPORT IN BETWEEN
Sugar mills are named work for our Field Division, alongside draglines and power stations. We supply shutdown and project crews, and under Queensland labour hire licence LHL-01983-S5B8T we supply planners, supervisors, relief personnel and trades where you need people rather than a package.
Our transport division moves the component both ways, 24/7, with low loaders to 50 tonnes, heavy rigid tilt trays, prime movers on flat and drop deck trailers, and Franna cranes for the lift at either end.
The Paget complex takes dimensional loads to 10 m wide, 10 m high and 35 m long, so an outsize mill assembly comes through the door in one piece.
